Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in IT and game development and is currently looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer for a Ukrainian miltech company developing UAV systems and ammunition that have been actively used on the frontline for several years. The company is moving toward autonomous systems, high-speed interceptors, integration of aerial and ground platforms, and the development of a unified ecosystem enabling coordination and interaction between drones.

We are looking for a leader who can build a full-fledged marketing function from scratch in an environment where the company’s overall operational maturity is also being developed in parallel. 

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

1) Strategy, positioning, brand

  • Development of the company’s marketing strategy (B2G, B2B, export)

  • Positioning the company as a technological leader: autonomous systems, interceptors, next-generation warfare ecosystem

  • Brand architecture: master brand + product lines (Middle Shot, Heavy Shot, interceptors, munitions)

  • Definition of tone of voice, key messaging, brand book, and visual identity

2) PR & communications

  • Building a systematic PR function: Ukrainian media (Forbes UA, Ekonomichna Pravda, The Defender, AIN, dev.ua) and international outlets (Reuters, Bloomberg, Defense News, Breaking Defense, FT)

  • Founder visibility: interviews, conference speaking, podcasts

  • Crisis communications: handling sensitive topics (security, confidentiality, war-related context)

  • Preparation of official statements, press releases, and responses to news triggers


3) Product marketing & B2B/B2G communications

  • Product packaging: technical brochures, demo videos, sales decks, specifications

  • Preparation of materials for government customers, Armed Forces of Ukraine, and international partners

  • Use cases: frontline results, performance metrics, operator feedback

  • Support for participation in exhibitions and shows: IDEX, Eurosatory, DSEI, Defence events, etc.


4) Digital, content, presence

  • Company website (UA/EN), SEO, technical content

  • Social media (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Telegram), content strategy

  • Corporate blog, technical publications, white papers

  • Video content: product videos, reports, interviews

5) Employer brand & internal communications

  • Positioning the company as a top employer in the miltech segment

  • Careers page / landing page, recruitment marketing content

  • Support for large-scale hiring of engineers and production staff

  • Internal communications: newsletters, all-hands meetings, cultural artifacts


6) Team, processes, budget

  • Hiring and building the core marketing team

  • Managing external vendors (PR agencies, production, design studios)

  • Marketing budget planning and control

  • Implementation of processes, KPI system, and регулярная reporting to the CEO

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing in senior/lead roles (Head of Marketing, Brand Director/ Strategist, Marketing Director, CMO) preferably in marketing agencies 

  • Proven track record of building a marketing function/ creating marketing projects from scratch or leading large-scale transformations

  • Leadership experience: hiring and developing teams, working at the C-level

  • Brand strategy: positioning, brand architecture, rebranding, brand book development

  • PR: systematic work with media (UA and/or EN), reputation management, crisis communications

  • Marketing communications: integrated campaigns, content marketing, digital

  • Employer brand: building HR brand, recruitment marketing, internal communications

  • B2B (and/or B2G) experience 

  • Experience working with physical products: understanding of hardware product marketing specifics

  • English: Upper-Intermediate / Advanced or higher for working with international media and partners
